Here’s my response to my new year’s resolution to write more syllabic poetry and Tanka Tuesday’s photo prompt.

Snow Winter dream. Always. Picture postcard, wish list scene. Practicalities never quite as pastoral. Drive needs dug out, soggy boots. Snow Strong instigator. Men to build. Become angel. Practicalities pure delight! Skin to turn raw. Soul to melt. Chrystals spark joy.
Excellent, nicely done both verses

I declare it a tie, too. I’m always a bit torn when it comes to snow. Yes, there’s the work, the clearing of paths, but there’s also the sheer joy! I wish I could schedule snow for the days I don’t need to get anywhere on time… Thanks for reading and commenting. Much appreciated.
