To the obstacle in front of me, by Britta Benson

Today, I’ve got a wee poem for you. Simply a thought I would like to share. Here goes:

To the obstacle in front of me

Nothing is shaped in free flow.

The moment I bump into things,

when it hurts,

when I’m stopped,

when life simply can’t go on like before,

I realize who I am,

who I’m not,

and perhaps,

most importantly,

who I want to become

and why.
